Cantilever Exchange Bay (CEB)

Following the flexible design of our entire system, Nanotec has designed a very simple way to exchange cantilevers from the cantilever holder with the maximum comfortability. The easy exchange system is compatible with multicantilever chips having cantilevers on both sides.

The Cantilever Exchange Bay ( CEB ) is a metallic base and fork designed for easy placement and removal of cantilevers. It includes a magnetic attachment to reliably secure the cantilever holder.

The cantilever chip is clamped to the cantilever holder with a thin rubber strip with special elastic features.

The CEB fork can stretch the rubber strip to insert or remove the cantilever chip, so you have your cantilever holder ready for a new measurement in a matter of seconds.
