Nanomanipulator

Have you ever felt a nanotube or a DNA strand with your fingers? Nanomanipulator system from 3rd-tech combined with your Dulcinea-based SPM system will allow you to feel it. Its force feedback system allows you to control the tip of the microscope directly with your hand, manipulate objects and feel them as if your hand were your microscope's tip.

First succesful surface modification combining Nanotec Electronica's Atomic Force Microscope and 3rdTech's Nanomanipulator was performed on april 9, 2003. A small demonstration of this experiment, consisting in the deformation of carbon nanotubes on mica.
