Hardware/Software Requirements
Minimum configuration
Nanotec Electronica WSxM Scanning Probe Microscopy software requires very few system resources. The hardware only requires computational resources to hold the operating system and to have an 800x600 screen, with 256 colors. Depending on the amount of the data you want to process, it may be necessary to have more RAM or free space in the hard disk for virtual memory.
Regarding the software, the only essential feature is to have Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional installed in your computer. The representation part also works with Windows 98, Me and XP Home without any known problems. However, we strongly recommend that you use Windows 2000 or XP Pro. We also recommend the system fonts be set as small.

- 17 (*) inch monitor
- 1024x768 (*) resolution screen with true color
- 128 (*) MB RAM
- 200 (*) MB free hard disk for virtual memory
- 16 (*) MB graphic card
- 800 (*) MHz CPU speed
